CIAO!  It's been a couple of weeks since arriving in Arezzo and things are picking up.

From all-school trips to midterms, bonding, internships and everything in between, it's been a fun month here!

Even with our first week being a whirlwind of activities, finding our way around town, meeting everyone and getting accustomed to the time change, we still managed to have fun every day.

Junior Catherine Limekiller said her favorite thing about orientation week was figuring out her way around the hill.  “Carrying my luggage up the hill was a challenge but meeting everyone after and Fabio’s pasta dinner made it a better day!” During the week we had tours of the city and the Rooney Family Center, tried some voucher restaurants, played board games, and met everyone that we would be living with for the semester.

It hasn’t really set in that we will be here for four months, because the Student Affairs staff has planned a number of events and things for us to bond and keep us busy! A couple of groups have already planned weekend trips; from Florence to Bologna, London, Paris, and Vienna. It is so fun to hear their stories on Sunday or Monday night when we are all together at dinner.

We have also started school trips! The Price College of Business program began their school trips with a day trip to Florence, Italy to visit Pitti-Bimbo. Student Athena Adaska said, “It was a fantastic way to learn more about children’s fashion merchandising and I definitely learned there is such a huge market for children’s clothing that I had no idea existed!” They came back telling us all the fun things they got to do that day, what buildings we should see, and pushed us to go visit Florence.

We also recently had our first all-school trip to Pisa and Lucca! In Pisa, we saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Piazza del Duomo, and Catterdrale di Pisa. Later, we drove to Lucca to eat lunch and walk around the beautiful town.
